<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous secondary battery having high capacity and high cycle characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: In the nonaqueous secondary battery having an electrode stack formed by laminating or winding a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and a separator, and having a discharge capacity per volume of the electrode laminate of 140 mAh/cm<SP>3</SP>, as a positive electrode collector material, metal foil having a thickness of 15 μm or less, containing aluminum as the main composition, 0.5-2.0 mass% iron, and 0.05-1.0 mass% silicon, and having an elongation of 2% or more, and a tensile strength of 150 N/mm<SP>2</SP>or more.
