<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video projector for dome screen capable of making the entire region of dome face projectable through a monocular fish-eye lens, without degrading the resolution of a projected image. <P>SOLUTION: The video projector for dome screen comprises a monocular fish-eye lens 7 for projecting a luminous flux from image display elements to the dome face; a plurality of image display elements 11 and 21 sharing the projection lens; and a means 5 for combining the luminous flux from each of the image display elements and make the luminous flux incident on the fish-eye lens. The image displayed on each image display element is projected on a partial area A1 and A2 on the dome face D, and by compositing the projected images on each area, a projected image continuous on the entire dome face can be achieved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
