PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a throw-away burnishing tool which maintains a cemented carbide tip in a predetermined position even if pressing force is applied to the same, can change its energizing force during execution of machining to change the pressing force, sets the relationship between displacement and the energizing force so as to be linearly changeable, and correctly adjusts the energizing force. SOLUTION: The throw-away burnishing tool 10 for an outer peripheral surface is formed of the cemented carbide tip 1 detachably attached to a tip holder 2; a holder pin 3 connected to the tip holder 2; an energizing means E inserted in the holder pin 3, for energizing the holder pin 3; an energizing force adjusting means G for adjusting the energizing force F generated by the energizing means E; a parallel pin 7 having both ends thereof supported by a tool holder 5 and being inserted into a slot 3a which is formed on a side surface of the holder pin 3; and the tool holder 5 formed by connecting a projection portion 5b having the holder pin 3 housed therein, to a linear I-shaped portion 5a in one body.
