PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the distortion reduction and linearity of an amplifier in an amplifying device for amplifying a signal. SOLUTION: Distortion signal generation means A-E, 16 perform signal oscillation, signal level control and delay, signal amplification and signal filtering at one or more oscillation frequencies to generate a synthetic result of performance results as a distortion signal. The amplifier 3 amplifies a signal obtained by synthesizing a signal to be amplified and the generated distortion signal. A signal level detection means 1 detects a signal level of the signal to be amplified, a temperature detection means 12 detects temperature and a distortion signal generation control means 15 controls the distortion signal generation means on the basis of data stored in an amplification environment data correspondence storage means 14 corresponding to an amplification environment including the signal level and the temperature.
