PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote controller which prevents the wrong transmission of an operation signal based on an unsuitable button operation, and which is manufactured with a simple configuration by a low cost. SOLUTION: The remote controller 1 has a plurality of the operation buttons, and transmits the operation signal according to the pushed operation button. When a user depresses simultaneously the two predetermined operation buttons Aa and Bb and the simultaneous depression state is continued for 30 sec or longer, the transmission of the operation signal is stopped from the remote controller 1, and the wrong transmission of the operation signal based on the unsuitable button operation is prevented. Since the transmission of the operation signal is stopped using an existing manual operation button without providing a switch separately for preventing a wrong transmission prevention mechanism, the configuration of the remote controller 1 is simplified, and its manufacturing cost is reduced.
