PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus which delivers a heavy flat article without scratching the article, growing in size, and increasing energy consumption sharply. SOLUTION: An automatic delivery apparatus for a flat article comprises; a table 262 which supports stacked flat articles; a suction opening arranged above the table 262 and facing the flat article; a suction appliance 104 which attracts the uppermost stacked flat article by sucking the air through a suction opening; and a carrier device 132 which carries the flat article attracted to the suction opening to the lateral direction against the stacking direction. The automatic delivery apparatus for the flat article has the suction opening 141 arranged in the lateral direction, and includes at least, a 1st suction opening 144 and a 2nd suction opening 146.
