<p>[PURPOSE} A safety driving promotion system that requires us to wear a seat belt and can effectively prevent drunk-driving and/or drug driving. [CONSTITUTION] The system comprises a fitting detecting means (100) for detecting the fitting of the male portion (11) of an automobile (1) seat belt into a female portion (12) to output a first start permission signal a, a start controlling means (200) for bringing an automobile (1) prime mover (20) into a ready-to-start state on receiving this first start permission signal a, and an expired air component concentration judging means (300)for detecting alcohol contained in expired air from an automobile (1) driver to judge the concentration of the alcohol, and a fitting preventing means (400) for preventing the fitting of the male portion (11) of the seat belt into the female portion (12), wherein the fitting preventing means (400) is so constructed as to enable the fitting of the male portion (11) into the female portion (12) according to the judgment result by the expired air component concentration judging means (300).</p> |
