There is provided a disc device having a simple cramp structure capable of stably fixing a disc. More specifically, the disc device includes: a hub having a disc insert unit formed by a cylindrical surface at an outer circumference of one end and a disc reception unit formed as a flat unit and rotatably supported; a head having an inner hole to be engaged with the disc insert unit, arranged to oppose to one surface of the disc to flotation-scan the disc and read a signal recorded on the disc or record a signal onto the disc; a disc held by the disc reception unit; and cramp means for sandwiching the disc together with the disc reception unit. The disc reception unit is formed by an inclined plane. Thus, it is possible to define a disc deformation amount and deformation direction caused by the cramping and obtain a stable head flotation amount regardless of the temperature change, thereby preventing generation of distortion of the disc, suppressing lowering of the head output, and improving reliability of the head.
