The offered grass cutter the top view of which is shown in Figure 1 and the drive scheme is shown in Figure 2 is designed for cutting of the orchard line spacing. It consists of a tubular frame (1), protector (2) in the rear part of which on one side there is an opening for throwing out of the cut grass (15). The drive shaft set (5) includes the drive shaft with two bearings and the outer bearing case, as well as the grass cutter drive sheave (6). Under the knife drive sheaves (7) there are knife drive shafts (12). Each of them is assembled with two bearings and outer bearing cases. The grass cutter knives (13, 14) receive the rotary motion from the tractor power-take-off by help of only one key belt (11) that assembled with the grass cutter drive sheave (6), knife drive sheaves (7), key roll (8) and belt tension sheave (9) are arranged so that the knives (13) are rotating, for instance, clockwise, but the knife (14) - in the opposite direction. The both ends of the grass cutter drive shaft (5) are located in the same distance from the coupling tappets (3) hitching the grass cutter in front of the tractor as well as in the rear, but the drive shaft (5) and the coupling tappet (3) is moved to one side from the central axle of the grass cutter and due to this mounting the grass cutter on the tractor it will be located further in one side. Support tracks (10) by which the height of cutting is controlled are located on both side edges of the protector. The construction (4) of the coupling tappet (3) is made so that it can be used for coupling of the grass cutter in front of the tractor as well as in the rear.
