FIELD: processing plastics by injection method; molding large-sized articles. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed mold includes lock and mold halves: immovable and movable; movable mold half is mounted on carriages located symmetrically and provided with anti-friction supports which are mounted in guides; it is provided with hydraulic motion drive. Lock is formed from at least two hydraulic locking mechanisms; each locking mechanism is provided with hydraulic cylinder. Hydraulic cylinders are mounted on immovable mold half. Locking mechanism is provided with brackets for columns and brackets for connection of hydraulic cylinder with guide on one side and with rod on other side; rod is provided with retainers. Movable mold half carries columns with taper holes for retainers. ^ EFFECT: increased service life; enhanced operational reliability of locking mechanism; increased productivity. ^ 3 dwg
