<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dry regeneration carbon dioxide absorbent for recovering carbon dioxide in exhaust gas generated in thermoelectric power station or in a fuel gas generated by conversion of a fossil fuel. <P>SOLUTION: The dry regeneration carbon dioxide absorbent consists of an active component reacting selectively with carbon dioxide in a gas flow to recover the carbon dioxide, a support improving the reactivity of the active component and needed to hold the shape of the absorbent and a binder binding the active component and the support together to impart strength to the absorbent. A manufacturing method of the absorbent including a blend ratio of raw materials, a blending method and a first stage of preparing a slurry through crushing and dispersion of the raw materials, a second stage of spraying drying and shaping and a third stage of baking is also provided. In the first stage of slurry preparation, raw particles are crushed to micrometers or smaller, and organic additives, e.g. a dispersant, a fluidity improver, a defoamer and/or an organic binder, necessary for preparation of a well-dispersed stable fluid slurry are added.
