<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging bag which is easy to open, has a male type face fastener offering a sure resealing function, is fit for packaging an article which is removed on a small amount basis and resealed in the packaging bag for storage as leftovers, and is fit for packaging a food to be served by microwave oven heating, and to provide a package using the packaging bag. <P>SOLUTION: The packaging bag comprises a bag body 1 having an opening for storing the article to be packaged, and the face fastener 2 the pair of elements of which are attached to both front/back sides of the inner surface along the upper opening end of the bag body, the opening end being cut open to remove the article from the bag body where the fastener elements are attached in a state of engagement or of facing each other for engagement. The fastener 2 is a male type face fastener which consists of base portions 2a, and rows of hooked engaging elements 2b projecting from surfaces of the base portions 2a. Back faces of the base portions 2a are glued directly to both sides of the inner surface of the bag body, and the hooked engaging elements 2b are engaged separably with each other in such a way that the engaging elements 2b at one side are fitted in gaps formed by the engaging elements 2b at the other side.
