COLOR CONVERSION FILTER SUBSTRATE AND MULTICOLOR LIGHT EMITTING DEVICE EMPLOYING THE SUBSTRATE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color conversion filter substrate with excellent durability which can extract color-converted light with high efficiency, and also can prevent the decay of fluorescent light intensity due to light irradiation by suppressing a reaction between a dye in an excited state and a matrix with high probability. SOLUTION: A color conversion filter substrate comprises a transparent support substrate, at least two types of color filters, and at least one type of color conversion filter. The at least one type of color conversion filter is formed with a dye dispersed in a matrix which absorbs the light of a wavelength, and emits a light including a wavelength different from the wavelength of the absorbed light. The color conversion filter has a refractive index in a range of 1.30 to 1.48. The matrix of the color conversion filter contains a straight type silicone polymer or a resin-modified type silicone polymer. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
