PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to intuitively understand a processing state between recording media during dubbing. SOLUTION: A recording and reproducing device employs a configuration in which the positional relation of inlet and exit ports of recording media or the like on a main body operation surface is reflected on a display for displaying a recorded state or the like.
