<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an aqueous dispersion of a fluoropolymer essentially free from fluorinated surfactants, especially fluorine-based ionic surfactants. <P>SOLUTION: The method for essentially removing a fluorinated anionic surfactant from a fluoropolymer dispersion comprises (a) the addition of one or more non-fluorinated anionic surfactants to a fluoropolymer dispersion liquid, (b) the contact of the dispersion liquid with an anionic polymer electrolyte and (c) the separation of the dispersion from an anion exchange material and the recovery of the dispersion liquid essentially free from the fluorinated anionic surfactant. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
