摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin film transistor substrate capable of widely securing an available pixel region and preventing short-circuit between electrodes of auxiliary accumulation capacity, and to provide a liquid crystal display device using the thin film transistor substrate. SOLUTION: The thin film transistor substrate comprises: first insulation layers 3t, 3c which are formed on the substrate so as to cover a gate electrode 2t of a conductive material layer and a capacitor lower part electrode 2c; channel layers 11t, 11c, 13t, 13c of high resistivity semiconductor formed on the upper side via the first insulation layer 3; a pair of source/drain electrodes 4t formed on the channel layers; a capacitor upper part electrode upper part layer 4c formed on a capacitor upper part electrode lower part layer; a second insulation layer 14 which covers the capacitor upper part electrode upper part layer 4c and is formed on the first insulation layers; a first connection hole 8t which penetrates the second insulation layer and exposes the source electrode; a second connection hole 8c which exposes a connection region of the capacitor upper part electrode upper part layer; and a pixel electrode 5 formed on the second connection hole 8c.
