PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a state selected resonance state spectroscopic method and a time-resolved spectroscopic method by generating specific quantum states without using spectral data of a target and state selected measurement. SOLUTION: In this state selective spectroscopic method utilizing quantum control, a target sample is irradiated with a waveform-shaped laser pulse train, and a condition wherein resonance with the target sample or absorption disappears is found, and thereby the specific quantum states are generated by using a laser pulse inducing state-selected high-speed transition without requiring information of the target sample and measurement of a state selection ratio.
