PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid fuel burner constituted by providing an air nozzle on an outer side of a fuel nozzle and providing an induction member in the air nozzle to delay mixture of air and reduce amount of nitrogen oxide and capable of suppressing occurrence of heat damage of the induction member due to rise of temperature by radiation heat from flame. SOLUTION: A plurality of induction members 20, 40 divided in the radial direction are provided in at least the air nozzle at the outermost periphery. Both faces of the induction member 40 on an outer peripheral side are cooled by convection heat transfer because air having lower temperature than temperature in a furnace flows to prevent occurrence of heat damage. Since projection area of the induction member 20 at the innermost periphery for an axial direction of the burner can be reduced when compared with a case where one induction member is provided, amount of radiation receiving heat received from flame is reduced and amount of heat radiated in convection heat transfer by heat transfer and air in the induction member is relatively increased to suppress thermal deformation and heat damage.
