PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a skin care preparation for external use having incorporated a CUPUASSU seed fat therewith that accelerates effects of ingredients. SOLUTION: The skin care preparation for external use, which is excellent in feeling of use particularly smoothness and maintains moisture-retaining effects, is obtained by incorporating the CUPUASSU seed fat into a skin care preparation for external use. The cosmetics containing the CUPUASSU seed fat are also provided. The CUPUASSU seed fat is incorporated into a facial cosmetic such as a toilet lotion, a milky lotion, a cream or a pack; a make-up cosmetic such as a foundation, a lipstick or an eye-shadow; a body cosmetic; a fragrant cosmetic; a skin detergent such as a make-up remover or a body shampoo; or a skin care preparation composition for external use such as an ointment.
