PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording head capable of preventing the recording liquid scattered in cleaning the head at a time of printing or wiping from entering into electric contact parts and protecting the electric contact parts from external forces such as a blade or the like. SOLUTION: The inkjet recording head is provided with a recording element substrate for ejecting ink, which has a plurality of ejection ports and a nozzle member for forming an ink flow channel and with a flexible film wiring substrate for applying voltage, which is electrically connected to the electrode provided to the recording element substrate, wherein the outer periphery of the recording element substrate and the electric connection part between the recording element substrate and the electric wiring tape are sealed with a sealing agent. The inkjet recording head is located between one end of the sealing agent positioned between the plurality of ejecting ports and the electrode and the ejection ports, has a groove defining the position of one end of the sealing agent and has a wall for each adjacent electrode of the recording element substrate and the flexible film wiring substrate.
