PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a dried-fish packaged product suppressing deposition of white substance sometimes deposited on the surface of dried fish such as dried bonito, dried mackerel, dried tuna, dried sardine, dried horse mackerel or dried Cololabis saira, and making the white substance deposited on the surface of the dried fish disappear: and to provide a dried-fish packaged product obtained by the method. SOLUTION: The method for producing a dried-fish packaged product prevents generation of deposition of the white substance sometimes deposited on the surface of the dried fish, makes the white deposition disappear, and comprises keeping the dried fish in the gaseous atmosphere containing ethanol gas.
