<p>The contactor has a tappet movably arranged within a housing (12). A light conducting cable (20) with an end region, which stays in engagement with the tappet, such that under utilization of the elasticity of the cable a switching between two light conducting paths take place during actuation of the tappet. One path runs from the cable to another cable (24) and the other path runs from the former cable to a third cable (22).</p>
