The theft prevention method has an alarm device (1) with a transponder and at least one sensor element fitted onboard the automobile (6,6',6'') and a transponder signal reception device (2) associated with a parking place or parking bay, for controlling a video camera (3,3') for recording, storage and transmission of video images, upon reception of an alarm signal. An Independent claim for a theft prevention system for parked automobiles in a carpark or parking bays is also included. |
