FIELD: medicine, obstetrics, gynecology. ^ SUBSTANCE: the sample of amniotic liquid should be sampled due to vaginal amniotomy in the first stage of delivery at the moment of uterine cervix' opening for about 4-5 cm with the help of a needle for carrying out spinal puncture to detect the concentration of malonic dialdehyde. In case of increased concentration of malonic dialdehyde in amniotic liquid being above 4.50 mcM/l it is possible to diagnose perinatal lesion of central nervous system in neonatals. The innovation provides the chance to conduct therapy in due time.
