<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power generation control device for a vehicle capable of lengthening the service life of a storage battery without increasing fuel consumption. <P>SOLUTION: This power generation control device includes a vehicle information detector, a generated voltage regulator, and a controller. The generated voltage regulator, in which a storage battery and a capacitor are connected to an output terminal of a generator in parallel to an electric load, has a first reference voltage and a second reference voltage. In the controller, a first parallel circuit is connected between the output terminal of the generator and the storage battery, a second parallel circuit is connected between the output terminal of the generator and the capacitor, a first diode is connected so as to supply electric power from the storage battery to the electric load, a first relay is connected to the output of the generator so as to charge the storage battery with its contact in a connected state, a second diode is connected so as to supply electric power from the capacitor to the electric load, a second relay is connected to the output of the generator so as to charge the capacitor, and the first and second reference voltages and each connection/non-connection states of the first and second relays are set. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
