<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new red color emitting compound and an organic electroluminescent device using the compound. <P>SOLUTION: The new red color emitting compound of formula (I), the organic electroluminescent device using the compound, and the method for manufacturing the device are provided. The present invention also relates to the red organic electroluminescent device having high chromaticity and high luminance by using the compound of formula (I) having high luminous efficiency.
