PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heater assembly of a self adjustment type positive temperature coefficient (PTC) and a manufacturing method of the heater assembly. SOLUTION: The PTC heater assembly comprises at least one PTC heating element and a pair of electrodes with a spacing. Each electrode has a first side face of the pair of electrodes having spacing in between. In this case, at least one PTC element is located between a pair of electrodes and is supported by the pair of electrodes and receives power supply from them. At least one PTC element is directed to a direction nearly crossing a vertical axis of the pair of electrodes having spacing in between. An interface pad with electrical insulation and thermal conductivity is inserted between at least one first side face out of the pair of electrodes and a wall part of the PTC element, and adjoins these.
