RECTANGULAR CONDUCTOR AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a rectangular conductor hardly generating deformation of a cell by reducing thermal stress when connecting it by soldering while maintaining high conductivity. SOLUTION: When manufacturing the rectangular conductor 5 by pinching both surfaces of a core flat plate 2 having volume resistivity of 30×10-3μΩm or less by conductors 1 having low volume resistivity of 20×10-3μΩm or less, the conductors 1 having low volume resistance are stuck on both surfaces of the core flat plate 2, and afterwards, the 0.2% stress resistance of the rectangular conductor 5 is made lower than 120 MPa by applying a thermal treatment for 1 to 2 hours at 200 to 280°C.
