PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system in which the display of multi-display is to be lined up, without requiring a video signal transmitting interface for a display or requiring user's operations, when video signals are to be distributed and displayed on a plurality of displays, using a multi-display display system. SOLUTION: A video display device, in which specific video signals are outputted from a video output interface and video signals are received, transmits a command that includes data, representing the received video signals and an identification number of a video output device, to a video signal output device. The video signal output device recognizes the relationship between the video output interface and the identification number of the video output device that is being connected from the received command, outputs the video signals, in accordance with the relationship and lines up the display of the display multi-display.
