PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plate for a specimen capable of confirming many detailed specimen-related information pieces, without inquiring specimen-related information to a host computer. SOLUTION: This plate is provided with a specimen preparation area 10f for preparing the specimen, and a frosting part 10a for displaying the specimen-related information. The frosting part 10a includes a bar code printing area F1 displayed with a two-dimensional bar code 10b for holding the specimen-related information along two directions of horizontal and vertical directions in top view, and a text printing area F2 displayed in a mode capable of recognizing visually the specimen-related information.
