PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a testing element for an immunochromatographic method, having a plurality of determining regions for detecting at least two kinds of substances to be detected and accurately detecting the substances to be detected by suppressing non-specific reactions. SOLUTION: The testing element has a specimen-adding member for adding a specimen, a label substance holding member which carries a second label substance for causing antigen-antibody reaction of the first label substance, causing the antigen-antibody reaction with a first substance to be detected and a second substance to be detected and a chromatorgraphic medium where a first deciding region having a first fixing substance, which causes the antigen-antibody reaction with the first substance to be detected, immobilized thereon and a second deciding region having a second judge region having a second fixing substance, which causes the antigen-antibody reaction with the second substance to be detected, immobilized thereon on the downstream side of the specimen-developing direction of the first judge region. The second deciding region is formed by protein, which will not cause antigen-antibody reaction with respect to all of the first substance to be detected, the second substance to be detected, the first label substance, the second label substance, the first fixing substance and the second fixing substance, and the second fixing substance.
