PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elastic paving material excellent in recyclability, construction efficiency, and economic efficiency without impairing low noise performance and strength due to excessive filling of a rubber. SOLUTION: This elastic paving material comprises a binder having an asphalt and an ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer, aggregate, and rubber chips and/or rubber powder. Desirably, the binder comprises 30 to 80 pts.wt. of ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer and 20 to 80 pts.wt. of asphalt.
