PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine which carries out the projection performances easier to visually recognize from the front without incurring the growing size of the game machines. SOLUTION: The game machine is provided with a projection based performance device. The performance device has a liquid crystal display device in which a projection plane is arranged aslant at an acute angle to the vertical direction longitudinally to face ahead and a display surface displaying the images pertaining to the games by applying a voltage to a liquid crystal display element is disposed facing the projection plane and a projector which is disposed on the projection plane side opposite to the display surface in the liquid crystal display device and projects the projection light toward the liquid crystal display element in the liquid crystal display device from the projection plane side to cast the images displayed on the display surface in the liquid crystal display device onto the projection plane being visually recognizable from the front.
