Each of printers connected to a network judges whether a monitoring information file to be transmitted to a management server is held when the upload time has come. When the management server holds a monitoring information file to be transmitted, monitoring information files to be transmitted to the management server held by other printers are collected from the other printers and uploaded in the management server together with the monitoring information files held by itself. Thus, when a printer transmits a monitoring information file to the management server, the access frequency from the printer to the management server may be reduced.
