摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To supply a stable power source voltage regardless of the operating state of a semiconductor integrated circuit device, or at from low output current to high output current. <P>SOLUTION: When the output current of a regulator 11 is small (or in idle mode), all switches SW1-SW3 are OFF. A power is thus supplied to a transistor M1 through resistors R1 and R2 to increase the load of the transistor M1, so that the current consumption of the regulator 11 can be reduced. Since a transistor M3 is OFF, parasitic capacity can be minimized, and a phase margin can be sufficiently ensured between the output of a differential voltage comparator and the output voltage of the regulator.
