<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an indoor unit suitable for preventing the deterioration of air blowing performance of a through flow fan and the increase of noise. <P>SOLUTION: This indoor unit 1 for air conditioning comprises a housing 10, a suction opening 14 communicating with the housing 10, a heat exchanger 16 mounted in a state to face the suction opening 14, the cylindrical through flow fan 18 mounted at a downstream side of the heat exchanger 16, a nose portion 20 longitudinally extending while keeping a gap L with an outer-diameter edge of the through flow fan 18, and the blow out opening 22 of the air discharged from the through flow fan 18, and the nose portion 18 is provided with a recessed portion 24 in the longitudinal direction of an edge portion faced the through flow fan 18. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
