<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curable resin composition for a columnar spacer, capable of effectively suppressing the occurrence of inconsistencies in coloring by failures due to gravity, when the composition is formed into a columnar spacer used for manufacturing a liquid crystal display element and a liquid crystal display element is manufactured using the columnar spacer, a columnar spacer obtained using the curable resin composition for a columnar spacer and a liquid crystal display element. <P>SOLUTION: The curable resin composition for a columnar spacer used for manufacturing a liquid crystal display element contains an alkali-soluble polymer compound, a compound having two or more polymerizable unsaturated bonds per molecule and a photoreaction initiator, wherein the alkali-soluble polymer compound is a copolymer containing an unsaturated carboxylic acid and/or an unsaturated carboxylic acid anhydride and a blocked isocyanate group-containing unsaturated compound. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
