<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrochemical measuring method capable of speedily and easily measuring trivalent arsenic ions and pentavalent arsenic ions in aqueous solutions at low cost. <P>SOLUTION: In the arsenic ion electrochemical measuring method, electrodes are brought into contact with an aqueous solution, in which arsenic ions and an electron mediator which binds to arsenic ions in a coexistent state or in a bound state are present, an oxidation current value of arsenic ions, flowing through the electrodes in contact with the aqueous solution, is measured.
