PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display device provided with a cover plate capable of grounding a direct adhesion filter. SOLUTION: The plasma display device is provided with: a plasma display panel for embodying an image and provided with the direct adhesion filter; a circuit board for driving the plasma display panel; a chassis for supporting the plasma display panel and the circuit board; a signal transmission means for electrically connecting the circuit board with the plasma display panel and provided with an integrated circuit chip; and the cover plate provided with a contact part brought into contact with the ground part of the direct adhesion filter and mounted on the chassis so as to be disposed opposite the integrated circuit chip.
