PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for stretching greenhouse film having an extremely simple structure, imparting tension to the whole of the greenhouse film, causing no creases on fluorocarbon resin greenhouse film stretched around the greenhouse: and to provide a device for stretching greenhouse film. SOLUTION: The method for stretching greenhouse film comprises the following process: a first process of fixing one end of a greenhouse film 6 on the tip part of optional one end of a greenhouse member 1 positioning at the roof surface or the wall surface of the greenhouse; a second process of fixing a film fixing member 4 on the other end of the greenhouse film; a third process of attaching a tensile force-resistant member 3 to the tip part of the optional other part of the greenhouse member positioning at the roof surface or the wall surface; and a fourth process of holding the engaging part of the film fixing member on a holding part 31 of the tensile force-resistant member. The method comprises imparting tensile force to the whole surface except for the opening parts of the roof surface and the wall surface of the greenhouse to stretch the greenhouse film through carrying out the fourth process after carrying out the first or third process in random order.
