The invention relates to a sliding door comprising a magnetic drive system for at least one door leaf, comprising a row of magnets which are arranged in the drive direction, whereby the magnetisation thereof changes it polarity in the longitudinal direction thereof at specified intervals, and a support carriage whereon the door leaf can be secured, in addition to a winding assembly which consists of several individual windings and cores, said assembly causing an interaction with the row of magnets (1) that initiates feed forces when the individual windings are controlled in a corresponding manner, and a control element which controls the individual windings or groups of individual windings in a pulse width modulated manner. |
