Adjustable tensioning bracket has base section (1), which is connected with side areas (2, 3) and supports laterally opposite lying two tensioning elements (4, 5). Tensioning elements are connected with rear and/or lateral areas of covering material and are adjustable by an adjustment device, during closing of folding roof. Adjustment device adjusts tensioning element during closing of folding roof from pull back position to the rear and/or laterally outwardsinto a tensioning position of the roof material.
