FAILURE MONITORING DEVICE AND METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that significant manpower is required to identify a cause of failure in the case of inspecting an entire log file to be reported.

SOLUTION: A log acquisition part 102 in a failure monitoring device 100 acquires a log file of each terminal device 29 which records log information including operation information indicates operation of respective terminal device 29 provided in a work facility. An extraction part 104 extracts log information which indicates occurrence of failure by referring to the operation information included in the log information recorded in a plurality of log files. A comparison part 106 compares accompanying information data accompanying with operation indicated in the extracted log information to each other. With the result of comparison by the comparison part 106, a determination part 108 determines consistency of the accompanying information data. An associating part 110 associates log information with each other which has accompanying information data determined as consistent.
