<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a commodity value management system capable of effectively managing a commodity having the best-before date. <P>SOLUTION: The commodity value management system comprises a commodity value degradation model monitoring unit 10 to generate a commodity value degradation model 25A of a commodity having a best-before date 24A as a two-dimensional graph by attribute information including the date of manufacture and the best-before date of a commodity, date input information to indicate the trend of the consumer best-before date and the physical distribution of the commodity, the cost distribution in a store and the like, a sales frequency distribution monitoring unit 11 to generate a frequency distribution curve 26A to indicate the sales frequency of similar commodities at a retailer together with the time, and a display control unit 12 to display the commodity value degradation model 25A and the frequency distribution curve 26A on a display unit 14.
