<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wiring board for mounting a light emitting device capable of efficiently reflecting the light from the light emitting device mounted in a cavity and having a metallized layer for reflecting light with high adhesion strength. <P>SOLUTION: The wiring board for mounting the light emitting device comprises a substrate body consisting of ceramics (insulating material) and having a front surface 3 and a back surface, and a cavity 5 having an opening in the front surface 3 of the substrate body and having a mounting area for the light emitting device on the bottom 6 thereof, wherein the metallized layer 19y formed along the side surface 7 of the cavity 5 and constituting a light reflecting layer 10 and metallized layers 19u-19w formed within the substrate body are continuously formed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
