<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power conversion controller for a power converter installed in a power system arranged such that a load current cannot be detected in which a variation in system voltage can be suppressed when a load is varied. <P>SOLUTION: The power converter 1 having a DC side connected with a DC terminal of a DC power supply or the other power converter and an AC side connected with a three-phase or single-phase power system and outputting effective power and reactive power comprises an amplification means 10 for multiplying a given reactive power command value by a fixed ratio to generate a multiplication result as an effective power command value, and a means 13 for controlling a reactive power output and an effective power output from the power converter to follow the reactive power command value and the effective power command value, respectively.
