<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce size in a radial direction and in an axial direction of a booster of a predetermined volume. <P>SOLUTION: A central core (80) forms an abutment part of a return spring (89) and a hole (81) for forming a support of a reaction mechanism (82). The core (80) retains a hub member (31) for forming a housing of a valve mechanism (32) to a predetermined position. The central core having inner and outer members (20, 22) forms an assembly having movable walls (9, 12) with a space and the hub member (31) for surrounding the valve mechanism (32). The movable walls (9, 12) are incorporated in the outer member (20) and are fixed to a predetermined position where an inner end of the inner member (22) can be bonded to the hub member (31) by a connection device (24) by inserting the inner member.
