<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire fixing member and a display device having it. <P>SOLUTION: The display device comprises a backlight assembly and a display panel. The backlight assembly comprises a housing container, a light source assembly which is arranged in the housing container and includes a light source to generate light and a power supply line to supply power to the light source, a main body section arranged at the outer side of the housing container, a main body having a guide groove formed at the main body section for house the power supply line, and a power supply fixing member including a cover to cover the guide groove. The display panel is housed in the housing container and displays an image based on the light. Thereby, the power supply line which is connected electrically to the light source and supplies power to the light source is firmly fixed to a specified location and, by arranging the cover to protect the power supply line, handling of the power supply line is facilitated, thereby, disconnection and damage of the power supply line are prevented. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
