<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To estimate the fixed image before fixed based on the interface temperature between toner and the recording member, by estimating the interface temperature between the toner and the recording member. <P>SOLUTION: The thermal conductivity calculation part 61 inputs the temperature of the recording member 16 (step S1), inputs the temperature of the fixing member 20 (step S2), inputs the pressurizing member 22 (step S3), reads in constants (step S4), and calculates the interface reach temperature (step S5). The estimation calculating part 63 inputs the fixing temperature (step S6), reads the PSF corresponding to the interface arrival temperature and the fixing pressure from the estimated pattern memory (step S7), forms estimation image, by estimating the fixed image (step S8). The display 64 displays the estimation image (step S9).
