PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide improved vaccines and methods for prevention, treatment and detection of tuberculosis.

SOLUTION: Disclosed are detection, treatment and prevention of Mycobacterium tuberculosis infection, more specifically, Mycobacterium tuberculosis antigens or polypeptides comprising parts thereof or other variants, and uses of such polypeptides for diagnosis and vaccination against Mycobacterium tuberculosis infection.
